October Business Meeting 10/19/23

7:00 Meeting Called to Order 
Exchequer - Goes over funds in the bank. Is taking next weekend off, and her Quarterly Report is in. 
Androecha volunteers to be deputy if one is not found by the time one is needed. 
7:01 - Herald. Nothing to report. 
Heavy Marshal - Quarterly report done. Discussing move to new practice site. Have we heard back from insurance or anything. No, because we hadn' discussed it yet. We need insurance before we can use the new facility. Try the site as one of the Socials to see if we can use it. Contact will check out if we can use it with school's insurance. Site is Spanaway Middle School in Bethel School District. Some discussion on Insurance. There is also discussion about just leaving it in one place all year to try and get some consistency. 
7:10 - Rapier Marshal. Not Present 
Archery. Not Present. 
Chronicler - Nothing to report. Some question on when the next Blahtering is going out. 
7:12 - Web. Some issues with Award Recommendations on Site. Has been removed with an Email Link to the B+B. Once things settle with the Website designer, they will decide if the Award Rec will be recreated. It is the Web's Birthday. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 
7:13 - A+S. Not much, but this is her last Quarterly report. Sewing is going on. She will not be here at harvest Feast when her replacement will step up. Words will be given to her Excellency Angarat. 
7:14 - Scribal. Meet up this past Tuesday was post poned due to COVID. Some newcomers. Preparing for harvest Feast and some plans in works for Candalmas. Reaching out to scribe of DL but having issues. Quarterly Report issued. Budsget pulled together for 2024. 
7:17 - Chatelaine. Had a demo. Great Turn out. No emails recieved, but they want to work with them agian next year. 
7:19 - Hospitality. Not Present. 
Family Activities. Nothing to report. 
7:20 - Sergeantry. Nothing to report. There was a sort of meeting the previous night. Multiple people asking about stepping up as Sgts. Excited for the posibility of a cohort. 
7:21 - Harvest Feast. Waiting List, and it si Sold out.  Charity is Red Cross Relief Fund for Maui. Doors open at 10:30 and a wish for a wonderful time! A subtlety contest hosted by Her Excellency. 
7:24 - 12th Night. Everything is full. We are at the mercy of their Majesties and Hignesses for a schedule. Talking to the Hilton to provide some Refreshments. Met online a few weeks ago and will do so again next week. Society Heavy marshal will have a meeting at 12th Night. Walk through in Early November. Cancelations through us, not the Hotel. Details are online. 
7:26 - Candalmas. Holding until Calander straightened out. Day after Harvest Feast assembling the team to get it rolled out. It is with Dragon's Laire and looking for volunteers from both baronies. Possible contest in designing a sscroll with wordsmithing, art and caligraphy.
7:30 - Embers. Her Excellency Angarat sent the bid in. Site is in. Co Event Steward is Tulia. Vote asked. unanimous. 
7:32 - Newcomers all thing. Rolling it in with Lord Defender, and moving it back to July 27th. Somebody needs to reach out to Curtis, Angarat volunteers as tribute. Either at the Swiss, or at Wyewood's Archery Practice. 
7:37 - Autumn War. Moved to September at the T90 Ranch, two weeks after Labor Day. Madrona is leaning toward a yes on supporting it. Agmundr will go out to Glymm Mere to speak to them at their next business meeting. 
7:40 - Chamberlaine. Also known as Driver Person. Not much that was needed for pulling things out. This weekend is last chance to get anything out of storage or trailer before he goes to Mexico. Keys will be with Dawn while he is out of Town.   
7:43 - Web has a potential deputy. Bri. New perosn and lies out in Spanaway. 
7:45 - Chronicler needs a deputy. 
Demo for Heavy fighters at the Meadery. Norwescon wants us back for demos and wants minority and LGBTQ things. CDB has been spoken to to gather information and that panel. 
7:47 - Seneschal. No Business
Her Excellency. The Meadery. Go forth and be chivalrous. Lead the way with Kindness. Looking for things for Largess.  
His Excellency. Had a great time at demo. A lot coming up, and need all the help they can get. If you're not busy we can make you busy.
