July Business Meeting 7/20/23

7:00 - Meeting Begun. 
7:00 - Exchequer. Quarterly reports due Aug 1st. Checking account is strong with a sum of money in it. SOme checks were recieved for the barony. Checks going out for Autumn War. Asked that we advertise for the event word of mouth and camp! 
7:03 - Herald, nothing to report
Heavy Marshal - Things going good. Prakky at Wapato park until September Crown. Need a winter location as we don't have one as of yet. Web teaches at Middle school and is looking into renting the lunch room/gym for fight prakky in the winter. 
7:06 - Rapier. People showing up. Agmundr was stabbed. 
Archery - Practices happening with 6 new people. Training and getting them ready to go. Steve is running the next few practices as Archery arshal will be going to Pensic. 
7:07 - We were nominated for an award/ 
Web - Announcements on page. She has re-upped for another two years. Maked an announcement about a Bardic Challenge on Autumn War's Saturday. 
7:08 - A+S not much to report. Canceled sewing because her Excellency had just gotten back from Coronation. Dame Myrie Black Adder was elevated. A replacement has been found. Culinary and Sewing going strong. Looking for Classes for Autumn war. 
7:10 - Scribe. Not present 
7:11 - Chatelaine. Not present.

Hospitality - Nothing to report. Looking forward to Autumn War and 12th Night. 
7:12 - Family Activities. Not Present 
Sergeantry - Meeting next Wednesday for all Active and retired. Last before AW. Discussing doing some pagentry for 40th Birthday. Meeting at 7pm at Phips residence.
7:13 - Past events. Had a meet in the park.  Doing the same on the 3rd. 
7:15 - Future events. Autumn War coming up. Fort Steilicum is picnic in the park this Saturday the 22nd. Needed a Rapier Marshal. The rapier Marshal agrees. Autumn War is coming up. We spent a lot of money, so we need to advertise. Suggestions were thrown out, one of which is signs that we can put up. A suggested idea is to go ona  bar ish crawl to advertise. Have we forwarded the FB to the nearby Baronies? Yes. Does Mr Nix charge per person? Yes. 4 dolalrs per person. Can we consider possible modern gate pricing that is different from normal for Moderns. Looking for a site for Autumn War that is in Pierce County. Advertising on FB is disjointed. Can the Baornial Page share the initial write up of the event to get it out easier?  We should be advertising the Autumn War FB page. 
The Autocrat speaks. 9 Large encampments. Need to know by the 4th for any other encampments. By the 6th for Merchants. Gate sheet is up for volunteers. Please put in some hours. If you want anything added to the page get in contact. We have Royal Presence. Need Royal Size. 
7:29 - Lord Defender. EIG is in. Champions and marshals need to contact for their events. There will be a pot luck feast. 
7:30 - Harvest Feast. Thanks to new Kingdom Calander Deputy website access granted. All the usual things are being planned. Menu is being held off on until new Coronets are chosen. Look for Updates on Baronial page. 
7:31 - Season's Beatings. Actually added to the calander as an official event. One last hurrah for the year and to be silly. So far it has been Heavy Fighting but would like to involve the Rapiers. Been doing it at the school, but we are looking for another location. Proposing it be a baronial event. 
Discuss the financial prospects of it. 
Some more infomation needed specifically on bathrooms.

7:38 - 12th Night. Contract has been modified. Waiting for signature. Lots of things went out. More space than we thought. Decorations crew reviewed spaces. Classes coordinator is reaching out to see what kind fo classes. Risers and ramp. There will be live stream. Youth activites are bein worked on. Volunteer coordinator has been found. Sent out save the date notices. Everythign is on Kingdom Website. Hotel will open up after Sept Crown. Developed a Team Logo. Looking for Radios. Approached DL because looking for 100+ command strips. With the decor, wants to do Stain Glass like Adiatum. They have offered to come up and teach us how to do this. How much Time and Cost will be needed. Information will be handed out as soon as instructor is available. 
7:47 - Candalmas. Site Contract for review. 
Embers and Ambrosia. Need an Event Steward. Torchlight Tournament asked to be Dedicated to a Baroness Sofia who was lost. Willing to send beads as a prize. 
Taking suggestion to Vote. 
None opposed. Vote passed unanimously. 
7:51 - Seneschal. No results on the polling. We have had a very healthy turn out for polling and crashed the Website at least twice. We need a Chamberlain as ours is stepping down.  Sir Gavin has volunteered. 
There was a bit of a Nasty Graham sent by the Hall we rent. It was not aimed at us, but was read so we know what our expectations are. 
Exchequer pushes to be replaced.  
Will Business Meeting be canceled? Will be at the Park on the 24th at Wapato Park. 
7:58 - Their Excellencies. 
His Excellency. Last meeting as Baron and Baroness. Talked to scheduler at Ft Steilicom park. They are willing to work with us for a Demo. Whatever space we want to use will be a 1000 per day. They do many events, pulling in 25k people or so. It's a possibily for large profit. How much will be for a table at Summerfest and get a table etc? We can speak to Dragon's Laire about successful Demo's. Once he steps down he will be following the tradition of dissapearing to give them a chance to establish themselves. 
Her Excellency. Thanks all the people who ahve been working keeping the Barony going. She appreciates all of us. Autumn War still needs a lot of work. Gonna have a 40th Birthday things. She won't go away, but she's going tp be doing sewing, cooking and Heralding.
