June Business Meeting 2023 

7pm Meeting Starts 
7:00 Exchecker: Get requests by Tuesday to her to get checks. Reads out two balances (Not mentioned for security) Long and short, Embers was highly successful. 
7:02 Herald: Couldn't make it, but Deputy is here. She is old Herald, and is staying on as the Herald Deputy. Congratuated Tulia on doing an amazing job at her first Court 
7:03 Heavy Marshal: Not much to report. More are showing up now that weather improves. 
7:04 Rapier Marshal: Same as he said :P Asked where paperwork goes. 
Archery: Not here. 
Chronicler: Nothing to report 
7:05: A+S: Lots of classes. New bardic champion. New A+S champion. Sewing nights going strong, culinary going great. 
7:06 Scribe: Not here, but the technically not deputy scribe is here. Had a scribal get together with several people including 3 new comers. Charters out being painted. 
7:07 Web Minister: Created page for B+B. Autumn War has been updated with all that she has. She and Autumn War Steward are chatting. 
7:09 Gold Key: Online, links need to be sent her way. Not much happened. People borrowed garb for Embers and kept for June Fair. Gold Key meeting qith Aquatera and Glymm Mere to discuss loaning methods. Coming up with methods for keeping track of everything. A box of garb donated by Madrona. 
7:11 Hospitality: Not here. 
Archery: Good practices and event (Embers). Everything has been well with no incidents. Dealing with prepping for next event. 
7:12 Family Activites: Working on stuff for Autumn war. Darrel asked for contact info to get in touch for Autumn war. 
7:13 Chamberlaine: Nothing to report 
7:13 Sergeantry: One candidate (Drake, YAY!) Sergeantry Badges are here. 
7:14: Embers was wildly successful. Best we've had in a long time. Weather is good. No real drama. Site is secure for next year. New sponsor for that site has been gathered. The Swiss will only accept checks from mebers. They will be raising heir Tent and RV fairs. 
Lord Defenders is locked down, as is Embers next year. 
7:20 Autumn War: Things are progressing. Net info has been sent to Web Minister. Exchecker needed Archery info for that. Autumn War is rolling along fine. Hay is set up. Getting 200 Bales. Having Youth Combat Tourney, cooking, need to start setting up classes. Cut off date is August 3rd. As he gets info he will update websites. He has a list of people to speak with. 
7:26 All Thing: Been being discussed. Pick a park. Have a picnic in the park in Garb from 11-3. July 22nd, Saturday after July Coronation.  Gig Harbor, Puyallup (Bradley Lake), or Steilicom park. Steilicom park chosen by popular vote. 
7:32 Lord Defender: Nykera is starting to advertise. After Autumn War and 3 Weeks away from that event. Champions asked to get tournament infor them. Bringing back Pot Luck Feast. 
7:33 12th Night: Slight delay due to verbage in contract. Working on walk thru on July 9th so people can see location. Going to have team meeting on Zoom in June. Currently seeking people to join in planning. Coordinator for dancing and masked ball, children and youth activities. Do have team logo that has been developed. Feel free to reach out to Arontius, or Kira. 
7:35 Harvest Feast: Working on menus and stuff. It is in process. 
7:36 baroness says she is looking at bids for Candalmas and next year as Candalmas is us this year. 
7:37 Talk of Fighter Practice. Other baronies have indoor practice and their practices have developed into much more than just a practice. There is interest in a location to have these same things going on. A one place to do everything. Donations are brought up as a way to pay for the event space. A comittee is suggested to investigate this. First Thursday of July will be at Wapato at 6pm. Will revisit this next month. Garb is encouraged. It is a Potluck. If people are interested in the commitee then reah out to the Seneschal to discuss these things. It is work worth doing. 
8:02 Other Business: Does anybody know where the Baronial Signs are? We need signs for Autumn War. Some are being made. Vote for signs. Vote passes unanimously. 
8:03 Seneschal: Has nothing. 
Baron: Put in opinion on who you would support for polling. It takes about 4 or 5 days of registering an account online for polling. 
8:05 Baroness: We have some new enameled awards. If you dind't get one, you may take one. See Sabine for a list. June Fair needs volunteers for work.
