Candlemas (UPDATE 1-30-17)
The Barony of Blatha An Oir invites you to our traditional mid-winter event. The day’s activities will include Baronial Court, a Pot-Luck Feast, A&S Classes and Activities, and a Court of Love.
Date: February 11, 2017
Parkland Post #2 American Legion Hall
11204 Park Ave S.
Tacoma, WA 98444
Enclosed flame candles and festive table decorations are encouraged. Please bring your own tablecloths to fit standard rectangular banquet tables. Alcoholic beverages are allowed (in period containers please). There is a small parking lot at the facility, additional parking on the street, and plenty of parking in the lot across the street to the east of the hall. Unfortunately, due to the theft of our baronial pop-up, there will not be any outside shelter, so please plan accordingly.
Due to the Banquet Permit requirement for a guest list, please send an email to Annaka (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the SCA Names and Mundane names of those in your party, including youth. This will also speed up gate check-in and help us plan the food. Liking or saying you are interested in the event on the Facebook page is nice but does not get you on the guest list. Pay at the Door.
